Week 2!

We had a really fun week! We have lots of writing this week! We wrote in our journals, about citizenship, and about what different groups we are a citizen of. We also had picture day this week! We have done LOTS and LOTS of math this week! We started number of the day, we talked about the different ways to represent a number, and we have learnt 3 different doubles games! We watched a fun Discovery Education video on doubles.

We had choice time on Friday. We started French. We watched a video that taught us our french greetings. Bonjour, au revoir, Comment ca va?

We have been working on reading quietly every day! This week we got to choose a spot around the room to read. We have been doing our home reading. There are 2 students who are already moving around the world on the map because they have read so much!!! Great job Rory and Breanne!

We have been practicing walking and lining up quietly in the halls. Mrs. Spiers and Ms. Casselman are helping us practice too!

We also met our grade 1 buddies for the first time! We read stories with them, and then we taught them how to do a word search!.

We had another great week here in room 110! What adventures will we have next week?!
